Engineering Research Center for Financial Facilities

Brief Introduction

EngineeringResearchCenter for Financial Facilities that co-established by investment Ltd. Co. of Liaoning Keda-Julong Group and University of Science and Technology Liaoning is a provincial ranking engineering research center appraised by the Technical Department of Liaoning Province. Aiming at the financial security and technical modernization of financial facilities, the center focuses on relevant technical researches, R & D in product, sub-commercial test and demonstration of industrialization in the financial field of currency security products and facilities in cash automatization treatment. Now the center possesses developing base for the facilities in currency automatization treatment, technical laboratory of bank notes identifying for many countries, three grades database for fake protection and measure center of financial net based on XFS/IFX criteria. Moreover, it has a base for the test, surveillance and sub-commercial test of new products, an allowing electric- magnetism laboratory accorded with international criteria and a database for bank note which includes most styles from different countries in China. There is a provincial key discipline in the center, two programs granting master’s degrees, a post-doctoral station.

Five post-doctoral staff;

Six staff with doctoral degrees;

Ten staff with master’s degrees;

Six experts in the field.

Research aspects

  1. Studies on fundamental theories for financial automatization such as embedding software, mechanical transmission, parallel control theory in the process of cash treatment;
  2. Research of applied technique such as sensor, image identify, nerve network;
  3. Innovative R & D base with international criteria for key technique in financial automatization.

  1. National 863 Project: Key Technique Study on Integrating system of Information on Financial automatization Facilities;
  2. National Touch Project: Picking-up System with Intelligent discrimination for multi-type of bank notes
  3. Technical Fruit Transforming and industrialization projects
